DESIGNING FIVE-STAR STAYS IN LAKELAND, FL, AND THE SURROUNDING AREA
Do you own a vacation or rental property that is in need of new or updated furnishings? You’re in luck. At Lux and Lax, we are committed to providing everything you’ll be needing for your rental property in terms of furnishings, from big items (couches, bunk beds, dining tables) to small items (coffee makers, scissors, can openers) we've got you covered. Based out of Lakeland, FL, we proudly work with clients in the surrounding counties, including Polk, Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Orange, and Manatee.
THE DESIGN PROCESS
To kick things off, we will begin with a free consultation. These calls typically last around 30 minutes. During these calls, we will ask you a series of questions to assess what you’re looking for. Every project is unique, and it’s entirely up to you in regard to how hands-on you want to be. We will determine what sort of vision you have for the design and if you have a particular style in mind. If you don’t, no worries. Our team is skilled in this area and is happy to assist you in coming up with a creative design vision for your property.
From there, we’ll create a customized mood board for you based on your design style. This will include a variety of different options to choose from, including layout, colors, styles of furniture, and more. This process typically takes around 48 hours to create. Additionally, our team will compile a budget for you based on our initial consultation.
PURCHASING THE FURNITURE
Once we’ve got these details sorted out, the next step is purchasing the furniture for your new space. There are two different ways we can go about this. The first way is our team will shop for the agreed-upon furniture and have it shipped directly to our storage facility that we will then deliver to the property and set-up. The alternative is that you can choose the furnishings you’d like to utilize, and we will have it shipped to you or the property directly. Once the furnishing arrives at the property, we will come in for the final staging and set-up.
We have partnered with a variety of vendors, including City Furniture, Ashley Furniture, Amazon, and Wayfair Business. No matter how you approach your rental home, when you’re working with us, you can’t go wrong!

During that initial call, we’ll go over all of the furniture options you have to choose from to help enhance your vacation property and you will receive a checklist for the necessary item to create the 5-Star stay all guests are after.
